On September 21, V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Health Technologies Assessment: Improving the Efficiency of Medical Organizations” was held in Moscow. Members of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal executive bodies, state bodies the authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as leading medical experts, representatives of scientific and professional organizations from Russia and foreign countries took part in it.
The main topics of the Conference were the increase in the efficiency of the work of medical organizations, patient-oriented and lean health care, hospital assessment of health technologies.
The Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation S. Kraevoy in his speech noted that health technologies assessment is becoming extremely urgent and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation hopes that holding such events is another step towards improving the efficiency and quality of medical care. The Deputy Minister also noted the importance of reviewing the standards and procedures for providing medical care, stressing that new modern diagnostic and treatment methods should be reflected in the revised clinical guidelines.
