On June 11–13 III Information meeting for medicines and medical devices authorities (TITCK) was held in Ankara, Turkey.
Kharun Kizilay, Vice President of the Turkish agency for medicines and medical devices, and Vitaliy Omelyanovskiy, General Director of the Center for Healthcare Quality Assessment and Control of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, participated in the meeting.
During the meeting following issues on collaboration were discussed: HTA for innovative medicines (QALY, threshold, EQ5D, local production policy, price formation system), development of pharmaceutical models for price formation on innovative and expensive medicines, development of guidelines and quality health criteria, DRG system monitoring. Moreover, ways for clinical and economic assessment for cellular and gene therapy and methods for determining reimbursement threshold for medicines were defined.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to conduct another meeting in the Russian Federation with the aim to sign an agreement on collaboration on the discussed issues.
